Ukrainian Easter Egg (“Pysanky”) Festival
St. Michael's and St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church invites the public to attend their annual Ukrainian Easter Egg (“Pysanky”) Festival. The event will feature the sale of traditional Ukrainian decorated Easter eggs, Ukrainian Easter breads and baked goods, Ukrainian handcrafted artwork, a traditional Ukrainian dinner (eat-in or take-out) and homemade pierogies. Venite! A spring concert
The choirs of Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1621 University Ave. NE, will present a spring concert on Saturday, May 4, 7:30 pm. Admission is free, but a $20 donation is encouraged in support of music at Holy Cross. The program features works by G. Aichinger, G. Allegri, F. Anerio, S. Backman, E.C. Bairstow, A. Beach, W. The St. Clement campus (901 24th Ave NE) of Holy Cross will host more than a dozen artists showcasing paintings, ceramics, jewelry, woodworking and more during Art-A-Whirl. There will be a Polish Happy Hour on Friday night. All weekend there will be food, drink, music, and church tours. Polish Fest
