Make your own cutting board
During this class you will learn how to use a variety of tools including; jointers, planers, table saws, chop saws, and the timesaver. Day 1 (03/22/21): Learn to "square stock" (preparing the boards so they have straight edges and are ready for gluing). Then cut staves from a variety of different species of wood and combine them to create the pattern you want for your cutting board. Make a Glass Mosaic Window or Table Lamp
In two nights, learn how to mosaic a 20”x25” four-pane window, or a 4”x 9” or 8” x 8” lamp with colorful glass. The glass is precut and stencils are available to start the creative process. The second evening we will grout and learn about mosaics. Supply fee is $55 for the window or $35 for lamp. Monday, April 12, 6:30-9 pm, St. Anthony Community Center, 3301 Silver Lake Road.
