SnowBLAST returns to the Heights
This winter festival event began in 2021 as part of the City’s 100th anniversary; they decided to make it an annual gathering. Drop by Huset Park, 3965 Jefferson St. NE, Saturday, Feb 5, 3-6:30 pm, for the festivities. The Columbia Heights Lions will host MIW Professional Wrestling Saturday, Feb. 12, at Murzyn Hall, 530 Mill St. NE. Doors open at 6 pm. Bell time is 7 pm. Many great matches including a Lions Championship match are on the card. This is an all-family event. Tickets are $10 at the door. Come early as the seats fill up fast. Families with kids of all ages are invited to Salem Covenant Church, 2655 5th St. NW, New Brighton, for an outdoor winter festival on Saturday, Feb. 26, 11 am-1 pm. The Oh Fer Fun Festival will have sledding, games, horse-drawn wagon rides, Chick-fil-A sandwiches, boot hockey, hot chocolate, and s’mores. There is a suggested donation of $5/person, $15/family. Toy Train Show and Swap Meet
Join the Lakes and Pines Division of the Train Collectors Association (TCA) for a toy train show and swap meet on Sunday, March 13, 12:15-2:30 pm at Murzyn Hall, 530 Mill St. NE. The community Egg Hunt sponsored by Waite Park Church is making a comeback at Waite Park, 1810 34th Ave. NE, on Saturday, April 16, 10 am-12 pm.
