Bring your little one outside for an active literary adventure while discovering nature themes during imaginative play. Each week check out a new book alongside nature exploration activities while strolling through the park. For kids up to age 8 with an adult. This is an adult/child interactive experience. The City of Columbia Heights celebrates its 100th Anniversary with the annual Jamboree June 23-27. On June 23, the Tasty Pizza Medallion Hunt begins. Celebrate the fourth of July at the historic Ard Godfrey House, Chute Square Park, 28 University Ave. SE, l-4 pm with a music concert at 2 pm (bring a chair if you wish).
