Minneapolis Red, White and BOOM!
Celebrate America’s Independence Day in grand style with Minneapolis Parks and Recreation July 4 at Water Works Park and Stone Arch Bridge parking lot, west side of the Mississippi River. Live music and food trucks: Starting at 6 pm. Fireworks begin at 10 pm.

Free yoga sessions at Logan Park, 690 13th Ave. NE. Classes are conducted by a professional yoga instructor. Bring your own yoga mat or towel, and hydration. Saturdays, 10 am, June 8 and 29; July 13 and 27; Aug. 10 and 24. End-of-month sessions are family sessions. Follow Logan Park Neighborhood Association on social media for weather bulletins.

Saturday July 27, Hart Lake Apartments, 3839 Hart Blvd. NE, noon to 3 pm. Free to attend and free to show your car. Last year's show featured more than 40 cars, including classics and Corvettes. Show cars will arrive about 11 am. A Fifties band will play noon to 3 pm. Food trucks and the local Scouts will sell hamburgers and hotdogs. Come visit with old friends.
