Fire & Ice Plunge set for Jan. 26
Southern Anoka Community Assistance (SACA) Food Shelf & Thrift Store will hold its fifth annual Columbia Heights Fire & Ice Plunge Saturday, Jan. 26, noon to 3:00 p.m. at Silver Lake Beach in Columbia Heights. Admission to this family-friendly event is free. There is a new youth category for ice plungers; registration is $20. Fee for adult jumpers is $40. Heated tents are provided for warmups. 1st Annual St. Anthony WinterFest
Presented by Voyagers and St. Anthony VillageFest, a free outdoor winter-themed community festival celebrating the end of winter and raising money and awareness for Nourish 282, a non-profit helping families with food insecurity.
