“First 100 Days”
Howard M. Christopherson will document the first 100 days of Donald Trump's second presidential term. From Jan. 20 to April 30, he will create a new, one-of-a-kind 6x6-inch piece of art every day, with each piece inspired by the events of the day and his own emotional and intellectual reactions. Minneapolis Parks & Recreation is offering a new workshop, "I Was Just Diagnosed With Alzheimer's (AD), Now What the Heck Do I Do?" Presented by an ex-teacher who was diagnosed with AD 18 months ago. There is almost no support for people who are newly diagnosed with AD; support from the medical community or insurance companies typically doesn't begin until 3-5 years after diagnosis.
