LNENA Bags Tournament
Register now open for the Lower Northeast Neighborhoods Association Spring Bean Bag Tournament on Saturday, May 11, noon-3 pm at Sociable Cider Werks, 1500 Fillmore St. NE. The cost to participate is $25 per team (two-person teams). This is a fundraiser for the Lower Northeast Neighborhoods Association. Watch the tournament and have a beverage. Sociable will give LNENA $1 per beverage sold during tournament time. Rain date, if needed, is Sunday, May 19.

The St. Anthony Civic Orchestra will present its annual orchestra benefit concert Saturday, May 11, 7:30 pm at the St. Anthony Community Center, 3301 Silver Lake Road NE. Admission $10. Concert, silent auction and dessert. U.S. Air Guitar Championships to benefit SACA
On Wednesday, June 26 at 7 pm, U.S. Air Guitar, Route 47 Pub & Grub, Fridley Lions Club and SACA Food Shelf will host the 2024 Minneapolis U.S. Air Guitar Championships. The championships will be held at Route 47 Pub & Grub, 7820 University Ave. NE, Fridley. The participation fee is $15 and tickets to attend are $5 with proceeds supporting Southern Anoka Community Assistance (SACA Food Shelf and Thrift Store). Summer Slam
Summer Slam is a fundraiser for the Thomas Edison high school wrestling team to support their need for new gear and other expenses. The event will begin on July 12 with a barbecue at noon and wrestling matches starting at 3:30 pm. SACA Golf Tournament
On Thursday, Aug. 15 at 12 pm, golfers and SACA supporters will gather at Columbia Golf Club, 3300 Central Ave. NE, to “drive away hunger” on the course. The golf tournament fundraiser raises over $10,000 for SACA (Southern Anoka Community Assistance) annually.
