Friends of Webster silent auction and social
Join Webster Elementary for an evening of socializing and fundraising with Friends of Webster/Webster Elementary staff & students. Friday, Nov. 10, 6-8:30 pm at The North House, SoHo Lofts, 718 N Washington Ave. This is a 21+ event, as there will be alcoholic beverages. The Northeast Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Northeast Celebration Thursday, Nov. 30, 4:30-6 pm at Jax Cafe, 1928 University Ave. NE. The event is a fundraiser for the Edison High School Voyager Scholarship Fund. Book sale at Pierre Bottineau
Friends of the Pierre Bottineau Library will hold a book sale on Saturday, Dec. 2, 10 am-2 pm at the Pierre Bottineau Library, 55 Broadway St. NE. Hundreds of adult and children's fiction and nonfiction books (most 50¢ - $1) in hardcover and paperback. They will also sell "blind date" books. Items have been withdrawn from the Hennepin County Library system or donated by the public. Funds raised will benefit the library. Cash only.
