Indeed We Can for Logan Park
Raise money for the Logan Park Neighborhood Association at Indeed Brewing, 711 15th Ave. NE, Wednesday, Sept. 13, 3-11 pm. Bar bingo at 6 pm. Prizes include gift cards to local restaurants and Vikings tickets. All proceeds go to LPNA.

Empty Bowls for SACA
Wednesday, Oct. 25, 4-7 pm, John Murzyn Hall, 530 Mill St. NE. Enjoy a meal of soup, bread and dessert made by local restaurants, live entertainment from local organizations and an art sale (new this year) with all proceeds going to SACA Food Shelf. Free will donation. Every person who donates receives a handmade bowl to take home as a reminder of hunger in the community.

Minneapolis Titans Hockey and MSP Starwhals are having a skate-a-thon at NE Arena this weekend to raise money for scholarships, equipment, and to provide a registration subsidy for all participants that helps to keep hockey affordable to families in our area. Book sale at Pierre Bottineau
Friends of the Pierre Bottineau Library will hold a book sale on Saturday, Dec. 2, 10 am-2 pm at the Pierre Bottineau Library, 55 Broadway St. NE. Hundreds of adult and children's fiction and nonfiction books (most 50¢ - $1) in hardcover and paperback. They will also sell "blind date" books. Items have been withdrawn from the Hennepin County Library system or donated by the public. Funds raised will benefit the library. Cash only.
