Frozen Pierogies and to-go Bowls of Borscht
The Ukrainian Center will sell frozen pierogies and to-go bowls of borscht at the NE Farmers Market "Winter Market", Saturday, Feb. 5, 11 am-1 pm at St Boniface Church, 629 2nd St. NE (parking lot). Pierogies include a side of sauteed onions & sour cream packet, $13/dozen. Bowls of borscht are $5. Heat and eat immediately or freeze and use later for those sub-zero winter nights. Fundraising proceeds benefit cultural and youth programs at the Ukrainian Center.

Sam Mosby is 16 years old, has hypoplasatic left heart syndrome and has had five open heart surgeries. He's headed to the Mayo Clinic for a transplant. Ukrainian foods at NE Farmers Market
Frozen pierogies, to-go bowls of borscht and kolachi will be sold at the NE Farmers Market "Winter Market" as a fundraiser for the Ukrainian Center. Sat., March 5, 11 am-1 pm, parking lot of St Boniface Church, 629 2nd St. NE. Pierogies include a side of sauteed onions and sour cream packet, $13/dozen. Bowls of borscht are $5. Heat and eat immediately or freeze and use later. Jumbo kolachi are $5, cherry or traditional cream cheese.

The public is invited to a fundraising event at St. Michael's & St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 505 4th St. NE, Sunday, March 27, 12 pm. The luncheon will include Ukrainian Borscht, bread, dessert and beverage. Eat-in or take-out available. Cost is $10 and all proceeds will provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
