Book and vintage vinyl sale at Pierre Bottineau
Friends of the Pierre Bottineau Library will hold a book sale on Saturday, Dec. 3, 10 am-2 pm at the Pierre Bottineau Library, 55 Broadway St. NE. Thousands of adult and children's fiction and nonfiction books in hardcover and paperback as well as vintage vinyl. "Blind date" books for sale. Sunday, Dec. 11, 3 pm. This free concert will feature favorite Christmas hymns and carols sung by Salem’s children, youth and adult choirs. The church’s Wind Ensemble, Handbell Ensemble and organist will also take centerstage to spread Christmas cheer. There will also be a crowd sing-along portion. NE Community Band holiday concert–RESCHEDULED
The Northeast Community Band will present its holiday concert at Edison High School, 700 22nd Avenue NE, Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023. The concert will begin at 7 pm. Selections will include old chestnuts such as Leroy Anderson's "Sleigh Ride" and "Auld Lang Syne," as well as special reading of "The Night Before Christmas."
