The Babes of Wrath, grassroots activists with decades of experience fighting homelessness and poverty on the front lines, will take their books, banned and not, on a 10-state book tour mid-September to mid-October 2022. "Lineas de Sangre" (Bloodlines) an exhibition of work by Melodee Strong will run through Saturday, Oct. 15 at NE Sculpture|Gallery Factory, in back of the Casket Arts complex, 1720 Madison St. NE. When studios in Northeast Minneapolis open for the weekend of November 4-5-6, visitors can purchase cocktails at the basement Speakeasy at Casket Arts building. Friends of the Northeast Library Book Sale
