St. Anthony Community Theater’s “Mr. Popper’s Penguins”
The St. Anthony Community Theater presents “Mr. Poppers Penguins,” Friday, July 27, at 7 pm; Saturday, July 28, at 7 pm; Sunday, July 29, at 2 pm; Thursday, Aug. 2, at 7 pm; Saturday, Aug. 4, at 7 pm; and Sunday, Aug. 5, at 2 pm, in the St. Anthony High School Auditorium.

All are welcome at the Eastside BBQ - where area residents, schools and business come together and build community! The event is free and includes pork-free and vegetarian options. The bands Velahsa, Thicky White, and Dred I Dread will perform. Family friendly activities will also be available. Boatbuilders exhibit at Stormwater Park
This summer, the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization partnered with Urban Boatbuilders and East Side Neighborhood Services on a boat-building project at its Stormwater Park and Learning Center. The public is invited to visit the exhibit through the end of September.

Indeed Brewing, 711 15th Avenue NE, will host an Oktoberfest benefit for the Edison Community Sports Foundation on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 3-11 pm. All profits from the taproom sales of beer will go to the ECSF scholarship fund and help launch the NIles Schulz scholarship fund. Food trucks will be available and the Edison Alumni Band will make an appearance around 7 pm.
