Parents of children who will be five-years-old on or before Sept. 1, 2017 are encouraged to attend kindergarten registration nights at Highland, North Park or Valley View elementary schools.

The St. Anthony Village High School Jazz Band will perform at the Barnes and Noble Har-Mar store, 2100 Snelling Ave., Saturday, Dec. 17, 1-2:30 p.m., during a bookfair to raise funds for instruments.

The St. Anthony Village High School Jazz Band and Chamber Choir will present “Swing and Sing 2017,” a casual fun night of entertainment and dancing, Saturday, Jan. 14, 7-11 p.m., at Murzyn Hall.

This event is free and open to the public. Local businesses and health professionals will have tables set up with information. Some include: chiropractic, acupuncture, dental, massage therapist, medical, holistic and Neighborhood HealthSource. There will also be food, kids activities and entertainment at the event.
