Short Attention Span Theater
Columbia Heights Fine Arts Foundation presents "Short Attention Span Theater". Three one-act plays by local playwrights Megan Gooden and Jeff Davis, accompanied by musical acts. Thursday-Saturday, Aug. 12-14, 7 pm, Sunday, Aug. 15, 2 pm, at Columbia Heights High School auditorium, 1400 49th Ave. NE. Adventure Club
Adventure Club programming facilitates a variety of activities for kids Pre-K to grade 5 to promote learning beyond the classroom including arts and crafts, guided group time, themed activities, dramatic play, cooking, games, outdoor play, science and more. 2:20-6 pm during regular school days; 6:30 am-6 pm non-school days. The Edison High School Band will play a concert, Thursday, Dec. 9, 7 pm, featuring Concert Band, Jazz Band and Beginning Drum Lines. The concert will feature “Christine’s Lullaby” by Minneapolis composer Carl Schroeder. This is only the third time the concert band version of this piece has been performed — following its premier at Lincoln Center in New York and a performance by a band in Wisconsin. Radium Girls
St. Anthony Village High School presents "Radium Girls." Based on the true story of a group of young female factory workers in the 1920s who began developing mysterious, devastating illnesses and the battle to learn the truth about how they became ill.
