Richard Scarry’s Busy World
Eastside Food Co-op and the Columbia Heights Library will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Richard Scarry’s classic Cars and Trucks and Things That Go. Book Sale at Pierre Bottineau
Friends of the Pierre Bottineau Library will hold a book sale on Saturday, May 4, 10 am-2 pm at the Pierre Bottineau Library, 55 Broadway St. NE. Hundreds of adult and children's fiction and nonfiction books in hardcover and paperback (most are $.50 - $1; cash only) . They will also have "blind date" books for sale and a few vinyl albums. Lorna Landvik at CH Library
Bestselling author Lorna Landvik will be the guest speaker at the Columbia Heights Library's Saturday Scribes Author Series, June 8, 10:30 am-12 pm. Many of Landvik’s novels are set in Minnesota.
