The St. Anthony Village Historical Society will hold its annual meeting and a book release party, Saturday, Dec. 1, 10 am-noon, at St. Anthony City Hall, 3301 Silver Lake Road NE. The event is free and open to the public.

The St. Anthony Village High School Jazz Band will perform at Barnes & Noble Har Mar, Saturday, Dec. 15, 1-2:30 pm. Barnes & Noble will contribute a percentage of every sale, 9 am-10 pm, to St. Anthony High School bands.

Friends of the Mississippi call for poetry submissions
Friends of the Mississippi River has issued a call for submissions for its winter Write to the River creative writing project. Poets are invited to share an original poem or short prose response to seasonal images along the Upper Mississippi River.
