Is it time to remove some Twin CIties dams and restore the Mississippi River Gorge?
In 2022, the Army Corps of Engineers will begin studying the future of two Twin Cities locks and dams: Lower St. Anthony Falls and Lock and Dam No. 1 (the "Ford dam"). One potential future outcome is removal of these dams and restoration of the Mississippi River Gorge. Final public hearing for Graco Park
A final public hearing on the concept and design of Graco Park will be held Wednesday, April 6, 6:30 pm at Minneapolis Park Board headquarters, 2117 West River Rd. The new park next to Hall’s Island and the Plymouth Avenue Bridge is scheduled to open in 2024.

Public hearing on Columbia Park Playground equipment replacement
