“Untamed Heart” at Nicollet Island
Head to the Nicollet Island Pavilion Sunday, Jan. 19, 3 pm for a special screening of "Untamed Heart" — a movie filmed in the neighborhoods surrounding the Pavilion. This 1993 romantic drama stars Christian Slater and Marisa Tomei as two unlikely lovers whose story unfolds amidst some of Minneapolis’ most iconic spots. Scoot your boots during an inclusive afternoon of music and movement, line dancing in the Nicollet Island Pavilion, led by Billie from the Back Road Kickers. Sunday, Jan. 26. Doors open at 2:45 pm. Lessons kick off at 3 pm, and starting at 5 pm enjoy an open dance session to practice your new moves and enjoy the music. This event is free to attend with free parking available.
