Minneapolis garden tool swap at Logan Park
Minneapolis Solid Waste & Recycling and community partners will be holding the first ever citywide swap event of garden tools and plant-related equipment at locations throughout the city, including Logan Park, 690 13th Ave. NE, Saturday, May 8, 11 am-1 pm.

Greg Zelek, principal organist and curator of the Overture Organ for the Madison Symphony Orchestra, will perform a solo recital at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1621 University Ave. NE, Sunday, May 15, 3 pm. This program will celebrate the 200th birthday of composer Cesar Franck with the monumental “Grand Piece Symphonique.” This concert is free and open to the public thanks to the generous underwriting of an anonymous donor. A freewill donation is encouraged.

St. Anthony Community Theater (SACT) will perform Roald Dahl’s "Matilda: The Musical" this summer at St. Anthony Village High School. On-stage and back-stage opportunities for this production are open for anyone age 11 to 100. The Northeast Chorale invites high school and adult singers to participate in their upcoming spring season. Rehearsals are held at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church 1509 27th Ave NE, 6:30-8:pm on Tuesdays. Rehearsals begin Tuesday, April 5 and continue weekly through May 31, culminating in a concert to be held on Saturday, June 4. Cost to participate is $25 for adults and $15 for high school students. Music in the Park
The City of Columbia Heights Music in the Park series returns for its second season in 2022 at Huset Park East, 3965 Jefferson St. NE. All concerts are scheduled Wednesdays, 6:30-8 pm and are free.
