“All is Calm”
Tickets for Theater Latté Da's "All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914," are on sale. The musical about the World War I Christmas truce celebrates a return to live theater for the holidays after a highly successful national broadcast on PBS in 2020. The Northeast Community Band has postponed rehearsals at Edison High School, 700 22nd Ave. NE until Sept. 30. The band requests all members be vaccinated; wear masks in the building and while playing; use bell covers if you are a brass player; maintain 3 feet social distance from others; and stay home if you are sick and experiencing symptoms. Cine Latino Festival
The MSP Film Society announced the lineup for its 2021 Cine Latino Film Festival, Oct. 8-14. The hybrid festival presents more than 20 award-winning narrative and documentary films with in-person screenings, filmmaker conversations, and Cine Latino at Home/en Casa, their virtual cinema platform. Picking up where they left off in March 2020, the Northeast Community Band will present their "March" concert Thursday, Oct. 21, at Elim Church, 685 13th Ave. NE. Director Tim Martin will give the downbeat for the concert, which consists entirely of marches, at 7 pm. Audience members are asked to be masked (as will the band) and vaccinated, and a list will be kept for contact tracing. The concert is free.

St. Anthony Civic Orchestra concert
