The Northeast Community Band will perform the afternoon of April 28 at the Landmark Center, 75 W Fifth Street, St. Paul. The group is participating in “Band Width,” an annual celebration of community-based bands. The lineup includes Capri Big Band, 12:30; Northeast Community Band, 1:20; South Washington Community Band, 2:10; Capital City Wind Ensemble, 3:00; Century College Concert Band, 3:50; Lex-Ham Community Band, 4:40. The event is free.

St. Matthew Community Theater, 4101 Washington Street NE, Columbia Heights, MN, will present its 26th annual spring Broadway musical, “Big Fish," May 2-4 and May 9-11 at 7 pm, and May 5 & 12 at 2 pm. The Saturday shows will be preceded by a dinner/social hour. Proceeds from the event will benefit the theater ministry and a teen mission trip.
