Casket Cinemas screening on population and parenthood
Casket Cinema, 681 17th Ave. NE, #145, in the old Northwestern Casket Building, will kick off its 11th season with a special Friday night screening, Sept. 14, at 8 pm (doors at 7:30 pm), of the documentaries “8 Billion Angels” and “To Kid or Not To Kid,” two films which are in post-production and will be premiering at festivals next year.

Immaculate Conception Church, 4030 Jackson St. NE, will have an Organ Recital, Sunday, Sept. 16, at 2 pm, with organist, Dr. Ray Bannon. There will be a free will offering to benefit organ repair and maintenance.

Northeast artists in “See. Say. Do.”
Several Northeast artists are participating in Art to Change the World’s non-traditional exhibit, “See. Say. DO.,” which includes 11 days of diverse programming, Oct. 4-14, at Squirrel Haus, 3450 Snelling Ave., an arts and community space in the Longfellow neighborhood. The Public Opening Night will be Saturday, Oct. 6, 7-10 pm.
