St. Anthony Civic Orchestra Dessert Concert
The St. Anthony Civic Orchestra will present its annual orchestra benefit concert Saturday, May 11, 7:30 pm at the St. Anthony Community Center, 3301 Silver Lake Road NE. Admission $10. Concert, silent auction and dessert. There are many items from many businesses on the silent auction, as well as a chance to bid on conducting the orchestra and a chance to bid on playing in the orchestra. Info: 612-788-3516

Both women find themselves surrounded by chaos and confusion, especially when a being named Briar arrives and claims to want to help, but only offers strange tales and riddles to unravel. The Northeast Community Band will present its end-of-the-season concert at the Como Lakeside Pavilion, 360 Lexington Pkwy. N in St. Paul, Thursday, May 30, 7 pm. The band will reprise some tunes from previous concerts this year and will feature Jack Stamp's "Pastime," a salute to baseball.
