Zen Center open house
Compassionate Ocean Zen Center, 652 17th Ave. NE, will hold an open house on Saturday, Sept. 9, 1-3 pm. Tour the Zen Center, learn about their programs, meet guiding teachers, enjoy refreshments and attend a short introductory presentation at 2 pm. Compassionate Ocean offers opportunities for meditation practice, weekly talks and classes on Buddhist teachings. Four times a year they offer programs in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). 3rd Annual Advent Lessons & Carols
