Socks for Santa
A Chance To Grow and the Northeast Minneapolis Lions Club are excited to host Socks for Santa on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 3-5:30 pm in A Chance To Grow’s gymnasium at 1800 Second Street NE. Children and families are welcome to participate, free of charge, for cookies, hot cocoa, Christmas music, facepainting, coloring, holiday games, storytelling, and crafts. The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will make its 20th annual stop at the intersection of Columbia Heights, St. Anthony and Minneapolis (Stinson Blvd. and 37th Avenue NE) at 8 pm. Dec. 11. Pre-arrival festivities begin at 7 pm, including bonfires, s’mores, and refreshments. The train arrives at 8, with a free concert from 8:15-8:45 pm.
