The Columbia Heights High School Key Club is hosting their annual compost fundraiser, called Plate to Garden, during gardening season at the Columbia Heights Recycling Center, Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm. Plate to Garden is a program developed by the Minnesota Composting Council (MNCC), “to complete the loop of growing food, eating food, and turning food scraps back into soil to grow food again,” according to their web page. Adventure Club
Adventure Club programming facilitates a variety of activities for kids Pre-K to grade 5 to promote learning beyond the classroom including arts and crafts, guided group time, themed activities, dramatic play, cooking, games, outdoor play, science and more. 2:20-6 pm during regular school days; 6:30 am-6 pm non-school days. Juxtaposition Winter Art

Boy Scout Pancake Breakfast
Boy Scout Troop 132 will hold their 23rd annual pancake breakfast on Sunday, May 22, 8:30 am-12:30 pm, at Mt. Carmel Lutheran l 1701 St. Anthony Pkwy. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, and eggs.
