State of the Precinct
Help keep the Eastside the safest place in Minneapolis. Join your fellow community members at this month’s Second Precinct Advisory Council (2-PAC) meeting Monday, Dec. 9, 6:30-8 pm at Monroe Village, 1900 Central Ave. NE. They’re planning an Eastside tradition, the 41st annual holiday thank-you buffet for Minneapolis first responders on duty Dec. 24. The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will roll into the neighborhood Thursday, Dec. 12. In its 26th year of operation, the train will stop at 37th and Stinson Blvd. approximately 8:15-8:45 pm. The Lone Bellow and Tiera Kennedy are scheduled to perform. The train raises money for food banks in its areas of operation; East Side Neighborhood Services will be the beneficiary.
