Art at Silverwood Park

Compassionate Ocean Zen Center, 652 17th Ave. NE, will hold an open house on Saturday, Sept. 14, 1–3 pm. You are invited to tour the Zen Center, learn about their programs,meet our guiding teachers, enjoy refreshments and attend a short introductory presentation at 2 pm. Compassionate Ocean offers opportunities for meditation practice, weekly talks and classes on Buddhist teachings. Four times a year they offer programs in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).

The Waite Park Community Council will host their annual Waite Park Fall Festival on Saturday, Sept. 14, 3-7 pm. It will take place in Waite Park, 1810 34th Ave. NE.
