Odyssey: A 50-Year Artist’s Journey: Not a Still Life
An Art Renewal Center (ARC) Associate Living Master, Charles Gilbert Kapsner is known for his diverse repertoire, particularly his thought-provoking, Vanitas-style still life paintings. His works include finely developed charcoal drawings, oil portraits and a creative blend of beautiful imagery accessible to all. International Holiday Festival
The Ukrainian American Community Center (UACC), 301 Main St. NE, will host an International Holiday Festival Sunday, Dec. 1, 11:30 am-4:30 pm. Enjoy world folk dances, a bake sale, folk art and a crafts and gift sale. A Ukrainian ethnic luncheon will be available for purchase. Tickets: Adults, $10; Children (6-12 years), $5; under 6, free. It's a benefit for UACC, which provides many services to newly arrived Ukrainians and supports humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.
