Adopt a cat
Whisker Rescue will hold a Cat-stravaganza adoption event Saturday, Feb. 15 at the Quarry PetSmart, 1640 New Brighton Blvd. Meet your fine feline valentine from noon to 3 p.m. or just come for some plush therapy. Cats and kittens may also be viewed on Petfinder.com, just search for the Whisker Rescue tied to Spring Lake Park. Applications submitted and approved before the event will have first consideration for matching.

Review the concept layouts for Tyler, Jackson and Van Buren Streets, and 12th, 13th and 14th Avenues Wednesday, Feb. 19, 4:30-6:30 pm at Northeast Recreation Center, 1530 Johnson St. NE. A jigsaw competition, a collaboration between St. Anthony Community Services and Silverwood Park will take place Sunday, Feb. 23, 3-5 pm at Silverwood Park, 2500 County Rd.
