Welcome Session for new people
Compassionate Ocean Zen Center, 652 17th Ave. NE, invites those interested in Zen to attend a welcome session for beginners on Sunday, April 13, 9-11:15 AM. Guided meditation instruction and a Dharma talk oriented to new people will be presented.

St. Constantine Ukrainian Catholic Church, 515 University Ave. NE, will hold a Palm Sunday event, Sunday, April 13, 10 am-1 pm. Traditional Easter bread “Paska” and other Ukrainian home-baked goods. Ukrainian Easter Eggs (“Pysanky”) and Ukrainian embroidery and collectibles available. Free admission. Luncheon available 10 am-1 pm. Includes classic potato and cheese pierogies, Polish sausage, sauerkraut, rye bread/butter, dessert and coffee. $15 Adults; $7 Children 6-12 yrs old.

St. Michael's & St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church invites the public to attend their annual Ukrainian Easter Egg “Pysanky” Festival. The event includes the sale of traditional Ukrainian decorated Easter eggs, Ukrainian Easter breads and baked goods, Ukrainian hand-crafted artwork and a traditional Ukrainian dinner featuring “shashlik” (Ukrainian shish kabob) and “Varenyky” (Pierogies). Sunday, April 13, 3-6 pm, Nicollet Island Pavilion. Free. Registration is preferred to determine class size, but walk-ins are welcome. Salsa instructor Erika will guide you through the fundamentals of this dance style from 3-5 pm. From 5-6 pm, let loose during an open dance session to show off your new moves. Audubon Park will host the Bunny Party for kids ages 6 and under, 9 am-12 pm, Saturday, April 19. Bring the whole family for this fun event.
