Around 7 p.m. Monday, April 19, firefighters arrived at 2200 5th St. NE as fire was spreading quickly through the 1914-constructed home of Sacred Heart of Jesus Polish National Catholic Church. Congregation members, described as small but mighty, vowed to rebuild, and the next day started to rescue what they could from the debris. (Photos by Mike Madison)
