Sauerkraut Supper and Quilt Raffle
Grace Lutheran Church, 1500 6th St. NE, will have their annual Sauerkraut Supper and Quilt Raffle on Saturday, Nov. 3 with seatings at 4 pm and 5:30 pm. Join them for pork tenderloin, sauerkraut, rutabagas, potatoes and more. A vegetarian option will be available. The tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for children ages 5-12, with children under 5 free. Saint Constantine Ukrainian Catholic Church, 515 University Ave. NE, will begin selling its pyrohy/pierogi for take-out and eat-in on Friday, Sept. 21, and each Friday, from 11 am-1 pm in its school building at 314 6th Ave. NE, just east of University Ave. NE. Northeast Eucharistic Procession
Sunday, June 10. The 14th annual Northeast Eucharistic Procession consists of the procession of the Blessed Sacrament through the streets of Northeast Minneapolis with visits to the churches of Holy Cross, St. Cyril and Methodius, St. Anthony of Padua Chapel, St. Boniface, St. Constantine, St. Maron, and All Saints. The procession will begin at 3 pm with the opening service at the Church of the Holy Cross, 1621 University Ave. NE, and conclude with closing Benediction at the Church of All Saints. A social with refreshments will follow at St. Maron’s Cedar Hall, 602 University Ave. NE. Parking will be available at Saint Maron and Saint Boniface, 7th Ave. NE and University Ave. NE, and a free shuttle from there to Holy Cross for the start of the procession. In case of a rainout, the Procession and Social will be held in St. Maron’s Catholic Church. Attend the entire afternoon or the locations your schedule will allow. Northeast Community Band Annual Holiday Concert
The Northeast Community Band’s annual holiday concert is Thursday, Dec. 1, 7 p.m. at the Northeast United Methodist Church basement, 2510 Cleveland St NE.
