Music fans with ties to Northeast may want to tune in to YouTube on Saturday, April 17 at 8 pm for a fun, free, acoustic Americana concert. Northeast-based band “Sonic Love Child” (SLC) will play as a full band indoors for the first time since February 2020. “Thou Mighty God” Concert
“Thou Mighty God,” a program offered by lutenist Thomas Walker Jr. and soprano Sarah Jackson, features sacred devotional works of the late Renaissance and early Baroque for lute and soprano, including music by Claude LeJeune, Nicolas Vallet, John Dowland, Etienne Moulinie, and Michelagnolo Galilei. The program will take place on Sunday, March 28, at 2:30 pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1621 University Ave. NE.
