Columbia Heights Public Library Fall Programs
Columbia Heights Public Library, 3939 Central Ave. NE, will offer the following children and teen programs this fall. Storytime, Sept. 12 to Nov. 15. Join them for songs, books, rhymes and fun. No registration required. Toddler storytime (geared toward ages 18 months to 3 years) Mondays, 10:30-10:50 a.m. Preschool storytime (Geared toward ages 3 to 5) Tuesdays, 10:30-11:00 a.m.
Baby Read, Baby Grow, Thursdays, Sept. 15-Nov. 17, 10:30-11:15 a.m. Baby Read, Baby Grow is a program for infants ages birth to 24 months and their parents and caregivers.
LEGO Club, second Thursday of each month, Sept. 8, Oct. 13, Nov. 10, 3:30-4:30 p.m. Do you love all things LEGO? Come to the library after school for a LEGO building program. They will provide the LEGO bricks, you bring the imagination. For grades K-6. Registration not required.
Maker Club, last Wednesday of each month, Sept. 28, Oct. 26, Nov. 30, 3:30-4:30 p.m. Calling all tinkerers, creators and crafters! Join the library after school for STEAM related projects. For grades K-5. Registration not required.
Fandom Club, third Tuesday of each month, Sept. 20, Oct. 18, Nov. 22. 4:00-5:30 p.m. Do you love anime? Doctor Who? Divergent? Something else entirely? Come geek out with other fans and wear your fandom like a badge. Enjoy trivia, games, and crafts. Grades 6-12. No registration required.
