Mary, Betty’s other personality, has gone overboard with everything Christmas, including tacky bows, lights, garland, plastic blow molds, tinsel and twinkle, and even homemade coffee filter snowflakes. Mary will debut an all new American country club classics menu with Christmas time eats and drinks for the entire winter season. The fireplaces will roar, the classic Christmas tunes will soar. The St. Anthony Village Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting entries for the Annual Holiday Lighting Contest. They invite any St Anthony Village business or resident to enter their holiday lighting display. The top two winners will be awarded $100 in cash prizes. Logan Park Neighborhood Association is holding its annual “Lights of Logan” contest on Dec. 18 for Logan Park residents. This year’s theme is “Light up the Holidays.” Have your house/yard lights on by 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 18 to be considered for judging. Winners will receive assistance with their Dec. electric bill. First place: Dec. electric bill paid 100 percent, Second place: Dec. electric bill paid 75 percent, and Third place: Dec. electric bill paid 50 percent.
