Logan Park Neighborhood Association is holding its annual “Lights of Logan” contest on Dec. 18 for Logan Park residents. This year’s theme is “Light up the Holidays.” Have your house/yard lights on by 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 18 to be considered for judging. Winners will receive assistance with their Dec. electric bill. First place: Dec. electric bill paid 100 percent, Second place: Dec. electric bill paid 75 percent, and Third place: Dec. electric bill paid 50 percent. Pickleball Lessons
Register for regular Pickleball lessons now through Dec. 16 for $25 (No lessons Nov. 25). Or just Drop in on Friday’s from 1-3 p.m., for $4 a day. But if you’re new to the game of Pickleball, they recommend you learn from an expert. Jimi Jimi Jimi, a well-known Pickleball expert will be teaching the rules, techniques and tricks of the game to those just starting out. Come learn how fun this game can be and get a little exercise in the process.
