In partnership with the City of Columbia Heights and the Columbia Heights Police Department, Science of Spirituality Meditation Center, 4054 Van Buren St. NE, Columbia Heights, is hosting a Peace Fest, celebrating individual and global peace through meditation, community service, art and food. Saturday, June 23, 10 am-7 pm, $2. This festival will host a symposium on peace with various guest speakers from the around the country, organizations in the community that are working hard to spread the vision of peace in various ways. The Peace Fest will also have live music, fun children’s activities, live cooking demos, and an international vegetarian food court. All proceeds will go to charity.
Science of Spirituality is a worldwide spiritual organization dedicated to transforming lives through meditation, under the guidance of Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj. Meditation helps all of us achieve inner peace, leading to global peace.
