The St. Anthony Civic Orchestra Christmas Concert has been rescheduled because of a snow storm. It will now take place Friday, Jan. 6, 7:30 p.m. at the St. Anthony Community Center, 3301 Silver Lake Rd. NE, Ste B. Carol Jensen is the artistic director. The performance will include Christmas favorites from around the world and your own neighborhood. Admission is free.

Fundraiser for St. Anthony Cheer Team
Support the St. Anthony cheerleaders as they got new uniforms this year and want to go to nationals. The fundraiser will take place Wednesday, Oct. 12 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the St. Anthony Village High School lunchroom, 3303 33rd Ave. NE Mpls. Everyone is welcome, please bring cash to play bingo (5 games will be played total with each game being $1) and a check/cash to purchase awesome silent auction goodies. St. Anthony Village High School Hall of Fame
The St. Anthony Village High School Hall of Fame Selection Committee will add two alumni to the St. Anthony Village High School Hall of Fame during an induction ceremony on Oct. 7. These two individuals join the 32 existing alumni in the St. Anthony Village Hall of Fame. The two Inductees are Scott Gates, Class of 1976 and Carl Nowlin, Class of 1995. “I am very excited to announce these two new additions to our Hall of Fame. They join our current Hall of Fame members in demonstrating exemplary personal and professional accomplishments, and providing the St. Anthony students of today with excellent examples of success,” said Mary M. Pucel, Chair of the Hall of Fame Committee. The inductees will be Guests of Honor during the St. Anthony Village High School Homecoming festivities on Oct. 7, including the SANBE Italian Dinner. Each inductee will be introduced at a special Induction Ceremony, where they will be presented to the assembled audience of alumni, current students, school district staff and community members. This ceremony is open to the public and will take place in the high school auditorium, 3303 33rd Ave. NE, at 6 p.m. Together with previously inducted members of the Hall of Fame, they will be introduced on the field during half-time of the Homecoming Football Game. Autumn Woods 1st Annual Antiques Road Show
The Autumn Woods 1st Annual Antiques Road Show presented by, The St. Anthony Village Historical Society and Autumn Woods of St. Anthony, will take place Thursday, July 21, at Autumn Woods of St. Anthony, 2600 Kenzie Terrace, St. Anthony Village. Items to be appraised should be brought in between 11:30-12:00 p.m. Oral appraisals are from 1:00-3:00 p.m. A donation of $5 per item will go to the St. Anthony Village Historical Society fund. Bring up to four items to be appraised by the Appraisal Specialists Midwest. They are not equipped to appraise items like dolls, watches, jewelry, large art, or large furniture. Some of the specialists are Bonnie Lindberg, ISA, who appears on the Home and Garden Show “Collectible Treasures” and on KARE TV.
