Learn valuable repair skills at a Hennepin County Fix-It Clinic. Bring in small household appliances and small motorized items and get free guided assistance from volunteers with repair skills to disassemble, troubleshoot and fix your stuff. Fix-It Clinics teach valuable troubleshooting and basic repair skills, build community connections and reduce the number of repairable objects that are thrown in the trash. Typical items fixed at a Fix-It Clinic include: fans, toasters, vacuums, sewing machines, power tools, record players, blenders, electric mixers, coffee makers, and lamps.
