40th Ave. NE Open House
The City of Columbia Heights and Anoka County are hosting an open house for the Highway 2 Corridor Study (40th Ave NE). The open house is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 2, 5-7 pm at Columbia Heights City Hall, 3989 Central Ave NE. This meeting is an opportunity to learn more detailed information about the study and to understand community wants and needs and develop a plan for a safe and effective transportation in the corridor. Mississippi River Pearl, a sculpture created out of things pulled out of the Mississippi River by members of Art to Change the World, will be on exhibit at Columbia Heights City Hall, 3989 Central Ave. NE, April 16-May 7. Share your thoughts on Heights Safety Action Plan
Help identify areas in the city that are unsafe for people walking, biking, rolling, driving or using transit. An interactive comment map (https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/4269dd590e454eec8ac972673eddceaf) is available for public feedback. The deadline to submit feedback is Sept 30.
