Mayor Frey to conduct at Northeast Band Festival-CANCELED
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey will conduct eight bands from the Northeast area simultaneously at the sixth annual Northeast Band Festival, Thursday, March 19. His directorial debut will be the culmination of a night of music by bands from Sheridan Elementary, Pillsbury Elementary, Waite Park Elementary, Olson Middle, Northeast Middle, Marcy Open, Edison High, and the Northeast Community Band. The evening begins at 6 pm with performances by the Edison rock band and drum lines. The event is free.
