Earth Day cleanup at Father Hennepin Park
Join folks from the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood April 20 as they clean up the shoreline, slopes and park on the east bank of the Mississippi River, where Father Louis Hennepin named St. Anthony Falls. Restore native habitat and protect clean water in this scenic nature sanctuary by the Mississippi River that was once part of St. Anthony Falls. Slavic Experience Festival 2021

Minneapols Halloween Half Marathon
The fifth annual Minneapolis Halloween Race is set for Saturday, Oct. 30, at Father Hennepin Bluffs Park. Half and 10K start is at 8:30 am, 5K starts at 8:45 am. Father Hennepin Park celebration
The re-do of Father Hennepin Park is finished, and the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board plans to celebrate with a concert on Tuesday, July 11, 6:45 pm.
