CANCELED: Marshall Terrace Heron Watch
Join park ranger Sharon Stiteler (aka Birdchick) to welcome back the great blue herons near Marshall Terrace Park, 2740 Marshall Street NE, on Saturday, March 28, 1-3 p.m. Use binoculars and a spotting scope to watch them rebuild nests and do a little flirting. If you're lucky, you might see the resident peregrine falcons fly over, as well as migrating ducks like buffleheads and goldeneye. Sponsored by Mississippi Park Connection.

Welcome the herons back to Marshall Terrace
Great blue herons return to their rookery on the Mississippi River toward the end of March. Join Mississippi National River and Recreation Area Park Ranger Sharon at 11 am-1 pm Saturday, March 27 to watch them. The event will be down on the banks of the Mississippi River, weather permitting. Prepare for some mud or ice. Bring binoculars and cameras.
