Invasive plant removal at Sheridan Memorial Park
The Sheridan Neighborhood Organization (SNO) is starting a long-term partnership with the Friends of the Mississippi River to help maintain the river banks along the Mississippi at Sheridan Memorial Park. Pulling invasive plants
Volunteers are needed for a final (for this year) “invasive plant pull” Saturday, Oct. 15, 10 am-noon along the Sheridan Memorial Park at 13th Avenue and the Mississippi. Sponsored by Sheridan Neighborhood Organization and the Northeaster. People who run or walk by the river, will eventually benefit from a better view and more pollinators. Invasive plant removal and restoration
Join the Sheridan Neighborhood Organization and Friends of the Mississippi River to help preserve the banks of the Mississippi River.
