Columbia Heights PRIDE Festival
Columbia Heights PRIDE and HeightsNEXT are sponsoring a family friendly LGBTQ+ festival celebrating diverse members of the Columbia Heights community. The Heights' first PRIDE festival will include activities, performances, community outreach, vendors, and food. Saturday, July 13, 2-5 pm. Sullivan Lake Park, 5430 7th Street NE, Fridley.

Kiwanis Spring Sprint 5K
The Columbia Heights-Fridley Kiwanis Club invites you to their Kiwanis Spring Sprint 5K fun run at Sullivan Lake Park, 721 51st Ave. NE, Saturday, May 14, 9 am. Mayor’s Monarch Pledge
On Wednesday, August 17, 5-8 pm, Sullivan Park, 721 51st Ave NE, the community is invited to celebrate the monarch butterfly. This is a bilingual Spanish and English celebration with food trucks, games, traditional Mexican dance and music, an Encanto dance party, a monarch costume parade, and an opportunity to learn more about how to help monarch butterflies. 4th Annual Columbia Heights Pride Festival
Held Saturday, Oct. 8, 11 am-5 pm at Sullivan Lake Park, 721 51st. Ave. NE. The free-to-attend family-friendly event will include local LGBTQIA+ performances, kids’ activities, vendors, food trucks and more. New this year: The Pride Pet PAWrade. All socially friendly pets are welcome to participate dressed in a costume or Pride attire. Feel free to dress up along with your pet.
