There are several alternatives to door-to-door trick-or-treating, and several are on days other than Halloween October 31. Minneapolis parks: Bottineau Park, 2000 2nd St. NE, will have pumpkin carving and decorating while supplies last, on Oct. 22, 1-3:30 p.m. Logan Park, 690 13th Ave. NE, will host kids under age 6 on Friday, Oct. 28, 6-8 p.m. for costume party activities (pre-register).
